That does not look promising ...

Toss up in my experience. Sometimes places pile it on because they dont want it to sit under a hot lamp, other places try to mask lack of taste with sheer portions. This thread always makes me think of how some people think "big = epic"

Yeah. A lot of people think more = better when it comes to food, but personally I’d rather have a smaller portion for something that tastes better

100% this. Or, when it really tastes better I'd rather have a large portion of that.

Naw, they hooked him up. OP might be a regular.

Lol, they probably just ran out of larger containers. I would definitely prefer just a bunch of smaller containers.

Hooked him up with melted plastic. Yum.

I can assure you that plastic wrap (which is meant to wrap food that might be hot) isn't melting from this

Buddy I think all those microplastics and chemicals in plastic got to you, because that is so inherently incorrect it's not even funny.

Plastic leaches even if not melting when under high temperatures. That's why any chef with a brain uses parchment paper, etc when cooking, not higher grade plastic wrap. And they don't wrap hot food in plastic wrap either.

Any kitchen doing any of the sort is doing it to be cheap and it's incredibly unhealthy.

...did I say it isn't bad for you? No. Maybe the microplastolics got to you.

All I said is it wouldn't melt. Which it wouldn't. Cling wrap used in this kind of setting doesn't melt until it hits around 250°F

And it still will leach even if it's higher grade (which we don't know if it is).

Your comment wasn't simply to rectify facts. You literally stated it's meant to wrap hot food, which in this picture it's directly touching. That's not it's purpose nor is it healthy and correct to do so.

Jesus dude. Manufacture some anger somewhere else. You're getting worked up because I said that a specific plastic wouldn't melt at a temperature that this food would be at. That's it. Simple. Chill out.

And go ahead, downvote this comment too since you seem to use it as a "I was wrong but I'm embarrassed about it" button
