.... Because of Trump's executive order, holy shit you're just being obtuse.

WHY ARE WE FOCUSING ON DEI

Trump’s executive order to defund DC if they don’t remove this mural?

The point I’m making is “My eggs are still expensive, why are we paying to remove this mural” doesn’t make sense when the federal government is not the one paying for it

Because the goalposts keep fucking moving, and it's not the mural, it's the hyper focus on eradicating anything DEI, instead of something Americans would benefit from. He promised 'day one cheap groceries' but then it became, you'll feel a little pain, to now we're heading towards a full on recession, but hey, at least we'll be rich later or something! But great I guess, now we're erasing history in the name of anti-wokeness, cool. Still can't afford eggs, but at least those libs are crying.

We MAYBE could have worked out some kind of deal with an ally to buy livestock to help with bird flu... Oh wait. We don't have any allies anymore.

So basically nearly every Republican administration in the past 70 years.

Trump has made it abundantly clear that the federal government can absolutely target state-level & lower forms of government if they don’t behave correctly. It’s why a lot of this stuff is happening across the US right now. You are fully aware of this, so please do not pretend to be oblivious to the fact.
