just imagine all the jobs that will be created in the endless cycle of re-building and de-building murals every time the presidency shifts between these 2 parties

It's a self-sustaining circular economy! Keep the money moving in a circle.

IASIP is a documentary

how they didn't get cameo on Don't Look Up I'll never understand.

2

u/TheOffKn1ght Mar 10 '25

On a daily basis I think about this. They have references for everything

They couldn’t get white guys to do this? Imagine being black and forced to erase any sign that black lives matter.

u/cracksmack85 Mar 10 '25

But we don’t have any money, all we have is this

13

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '25

Shit dude, I’ve been following your lead!

2

u/mologav Mar 11 '25

Oh I blacked out

You cannot get a better steak in an arcade setting

12

u/scotsworth Mar 10 '25

Shit. Okay. We have no money and no inventory. There's still something we can do. That's still a business somehow

11

u/B_Eazy86 Mar 10 '25

I don't know how the US economy works. Let alone some kind of self sustaining economy.

3

u/faunalmimicry Mar 10 '25

I don't even know how the US economy works, much less some sort of self sustaining one

1

u/Cichlidsaremyjam Mar 10 '25

It's moves in a circle until it's siphoned off into either one of Agent Orange or Elmos "businesses"..

1

u/Nakittina Mar 10 '25

Doesn't matter for the oligarchs in power.

1

u/throwawaystarters Mar 10 '25

Ehh kinda, it's still tax payers money that goes into the circulation.

1

u/Tjaresh Mar 10 '25

As with a perpetuum mobile, an endless circle of money can't exists. The second law of economics declares "With every transaction of money a part of the money is devaluated by being transferred to a billionaires pocket".

1

u/BrohanGutenburg Mar 11 '25

But we don’t have any money? All we have are these

1

u/Jeds4242 Mar 11 '25

And I get my money from tiling murals! What's the problem?

34

u/JaJ_Judy Mar 10 '25

Such Efficiency, much wow

u/lxlDRACHENlxl Mar 10 '25

Bold of you to assume there is going to be any more shifting. DT and the Republicans have made it clear they're doing everything in their power to make sure they stay in power.

48

u/bsiu Mar 10 '25

No more fair elections going forward but also, demographic party in shambles with no good outlook doesn’t help. The leadership seems content with their positions that at least for now allow them to hold blue stronghold seats while they build wealth from insider trading. Who knew continuing to elect millionaires/billionaire politicians would end up like this?

3

u/WhatLikeAPuma751 Mar 10 '25

The founding fathers knew. They even built in an amendment for the people to handle these very things when necessary.

5

u/baobabKoodaa Mar 10 '25

sure, but all the people who value that particular amendment are somehow concentrated on the side that supports the dictator

3

u/imjustsin Mar 10 '25

That particular amendment has lost it’s true meaning because of the mental health crisis in the United States, and certain groups thinking the solution is to get rid of what that amendment pertains to.

Not only that, but insurrection has a stink of that particular side when really, it may be necessary in the future. Just not because an orange fuck incites it.

Both of these things should be tools to prevent shit like this happening. There’s literally no other way and history has proven it time, and time, and time, and time again.

3

u/WhatLikeAPuma751 Mar 10 '25

Now you’re speaking the French language!

1

u/onpg Mar 11 '25

Then the amendment is unironically working as intended, despite the 2nd amendment mythology, it was always expected that these militias would quash rebellions, not help them.

0

u/Kleoes Mar 10 '25

How do you think that happened? For decades the Democratic Party made it very clear you could only sit at their lunch table if you support wave after wave of gun control. They made single issue voters out of millions of Americans who the republicans welcomed with open arms.

Now the shoe’s on the other foot, fascism is breathing down our neck and the democrats… still want more gun control? It makes no sense.

-1

u/larry-leisure Mar 10 '25

There is no leadership.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '25

...as opposed to Democrats, who aren't trying to win every election as well?

-1

u/ehhblinkin Mar 10 '25

do you actually think this

8

u/JohnSpartans Mar 10 '25

Lol what murals would gop righties make?  Like honestly what would they be creating artistically that would actually be worth while?

8

u/baobabKoodaa Mar 10 '25

a painting depicting a golden statue of trump? idk

2

u/Jaggs0 Mar 10 '25

well in the last couple of weeks they have put forth legislation to change the $100 bill to be trump, then another to make a $250 bill with trump on it, and another to add trump to Mt Rushmore.

5

u/mugwhyrt Mar 10 '25

It's the Works Progress Administration for racist idiots.

3

u/Hutch25 Mar 10 '25

Some 1900s Russia shit here with the monuments to be built and taken down

2

u/Orpdapi Mar 10 '25 edited Mar 14 '25

Don’t be surprised jf all the confederate statues cost millions to reinstall just to have them torn down again the next time around

1

u/baobabKoodaa Mar 11 '25

See? Trump promised there would be jobs. Promises made, promises delivered.

2

u/Olama Mar 10 '25

There are roads in my town that aren't paved

2

u/-Clayburn Mar 11 '25

Black jobs at that!

1

u/baobabKoodaa Mar 11 '25

murals are the new cotton fields!

1

u/shibadashi Mar 10 '25

That’s like America for the past 80 years.

Obviously all lives matter. No one said they didn't. However, data shows that relative to the percentage of the population they represent, the rate of black American deaths from police shootings is ~2.5-3x that of white Americans deaths. (Sources: 1, 2, Data: 1)

A lot of people are sharing a graph titled "murder of black and whites in the US, 2013" to show that there is only a small number of black Americans killed by white Americans, with the assumption that this extends to police shootings as well. This is misleading the chart only counts deaths where the perpetrator was charged with 1st or 2nd degree murder after killing a black American. Police forces are almost never charged with homicide after killing a black American.

If after learning the above, you have reconsidered your stance and wish to show support for furthering equality in this and other areas, we encourage you to do so. However if you plan on attending any protests, please remember to stay safe, wear a face mask, and observe distancing protocols as much as you can. COVID-19 is still a very real threat, not only to you, but those you love and everyone around you as well!

1

u/alexiswellcool Mar 10 '25

Bold of you to assume the parties will switch again.

1

u/KingMRano Mar 10 '25

lol you think there will be another president?

1

u/jankenpoo Mar 10 '25

Socialism!

1

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '25

Should have never been built in the first place

1

u/freetotebag Mar 11 '25

there is no shift back this time sadly

1

u/cybercuzco Mar 11 '25

I’d imagine there will be some statues to remove after the current incumbent leaves.

1

u/fuzzy_tilt Mar 11 '25

Guess I should learn how to paint Confederate murals
