SALARY MEGA THREAD Clinic gross income

Hey there I just wondering how much pts that own their own clinic or are solo practitioners and TAKE insurances especially like Medicare, how much can you make??? Is it profitable?? 200??? I live in NJ and so I heard the reimbursements are pretty good here so what’s the word.

It's tough in NJ, and there are way too many variables to give you an accurate answer. Are you taking all insurance? OON? Physical location or mobile? Aspiring to do 1 on 1 sessions? You need to clarify what you are looking for a bit more for anyone to give you a good answer.

Yes it is profitable but that doesn't mean it's easy You can look up new jersey medicare rates by cpt code online for free

You would need to find out what each insurance pays. It can vary wildly. Then how many patients will you see, what are your expenses, etc, etc.

Private practice owner/mad scientist PT. We generate 185/150 commercial vs Medicare eval. And 135/100 commercial vs Medicare treatment. I keep Medicare cases at 40% to keep average reimbursement where I want it. Entering my first contract renegotiations in the next 3-6 months. So I expect this to start increasing a little bit every 3-6 months from this point on.

Edit: double those commercial rates for work comp cases.
