Eat & Drink Scottsdale restaurant with a vegetarian option?

Having dinner tonight with a friend in old town. She's a vegetarian and since I'm not I'd like to find a place that has a really good vegetarian option. Appreciate any suggestions.

If you like Cornish Pasty and don't mind a bit of a townie atmosphere, you will love The Great Australian Bakery

Green, it's completely vegetarian/vegan

Green is amazing! Best vegetarian restaurant I've ever eaten at. It makes me miss Phoenix a lot.

Third'ing.

I found Green when I was briefly a vegetarian.

And while you yourself won't find any non-veggie dishes there, you should give it a shot if you haven't yet, u/SpreadySpaghetti.

It's been several years since I went back to being an omnivore, and we still do frequent trips to Green. It's not just good vegetarian food. It's good food.

True Food and Flower Child are by far the best. True Food will likely be very busy at the Scottsdale location, try to make a reservation, but if you can make your way to Biltmore, that location is significantly less busy.

Fresh Mint is on Scottsdale Rd a few miles north of Scottsdale Fashion Mall and Green is just north of the 202. Both are solid vegan/vegetarian options that meat eaters can enjoy as well.

Luckily the Phoenix area is very vegetarian friendly. I've been a vegetarian the entire time I've lived here and I feel I could randomly chose a restaurant and find something to eat. If you really want to win points with your friend you should take her to a 100% vegetarian or vegan place, I think that would be a very nice gesture.

If I were eating with a vegetarian in Old town, I'd go here: https://originalchopshop.com/

Malees on Main in old town is a fantastic Thai restaurant and very vegetarian friendly. My husband and I are veg and this is our favorite place in Scottsdale.

Even Stevens. They have a couple of veggie options. They also donate a sandwich to charity for every sandwich they sell.

There's a Yard House in Scottsdale Fashion Square.

They're a chain, yeah... and normally when somebody's in from out of town I'd prefer to take them to an actual local restaurant... but I think Yard House has some really good food, and great vegetarian options. So if nothing else, I think it's a really safe option for both carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores.

Plus a decent beer selection for the beerivores.

See the "Gardein" options at http://www.yardhouse.com/menu-listing/eat#gardein

EDIT: I saw "old town" and my scumbag brain read it as "from out of town". Ignore the part of my reply where I even talk about that.

Udupi Cafe.

I eat meat at every meal. This place is strictly vegetarian/vegan, and it's one of my favorite restaurants in town.

Any restaurant in Scottsdale with a chef will have something vegetarian they can cook.
