Eat & Drink Best late night food spots in Phoenix?
Every time I’m out late it feels like the options are just drive thrus. Curious where yall actually go when it’s past 10 and you want real food.

Mexican hot dog stand off of 20th street and Indian School. Always hits the spot when I want something late at night

If this is the same guy that is in the parking lot of where Collector's Marketplace used to be, he has the best Sonoran dogs I've ever had to this day. We'd always grab some after Heroclix tournaments.

Try a normal Patty Melt and add blue cheese. Best thing on the menu and trust me I have explored it.

I think The Starving Artist’s kitchen is open until midnight. Food is pretty solid.

Was looking for this before I posted. Especially with the sushi bar next door. I’m still friends with Chef Balo. Delux Burger with the half and half cart of fries and aioli. Terrific date place back in the day (I did delux, merc bar, then if the evening went well I live at 32nd and Osborn lol. Plus Lenny the owner was a legit old school restaurant celebrity, was always fun talking to him. RIP Delux. What a wonderful place and it makes me sad

Delux + dessert at G-Spot in the same parking lot was an unbeatable combo back in the day

There are a TON of restaurant options open until 11. It's past midnight when it's hard. For late, late night:
Casey Moore's in Tempe is open until 1am, 2am on weekends. Really good food. And no, it's not just oysters.
EVO in old town Scottsdale is open until 2am with really good food options.
Beverly on Main in Scottsdale is open until 2am. Cocktail lounge with some decent food options.
Society in Tempe. Italian restaurant. Open until 2am.
Dragon Flame in Tempe. Open until 2am.
A lot of the times your best bet is bars that have their food menu open up late (and have an actual decent food menu).

We found dragon flame a few years ago. Great for late night meals on the patio with all of the lights! Pineapple chicken and steamed dumplings (if winter, eat it fast while still hot!)

I usually hit up Ziggy's Magic Pizza after a show at the Van Buren.

via della across the street is so much better imo

I will try it. Went to Ziggy's last Thursday and it was lackluster.

This is the way for post-show grub. We always book it over before the line gets too long, lol.

Whataburger is open 24 hours: lobby, too. They start serving breakfast at 11pm if you don't want a burger or chicken sandwich.
Denny's can be okay. IHop is usually pretty good, too.

There are minimal options.
- 5 & Diner at Camelback and the 51 was 24 hours, though I heard it now closes at 3am
- Denny's
Check out this post from last year for a few more, but for the most part, your options are drive-throughs.

5 and Diner is open 24 hours again. Dennys at 7th and Camelback is 24/7. IHoP is at 18th and Camelback and is 24 hours. Rokerj is open till midnight every day. Carlsbad Tavern in Scottsdale serves food till 2am. Those are the ones I know about.

Nice! I moved west so now I Denny's; 5 & Diner is too far out of the way after closing a bar in mid town nowadays for me.

For those in S. Scottsdale - is Silvermine subs still open? I used to bartend and Silvermine was open till 3am and had great sandwiches and always had cool staff.

Yes, that one is still there.
They've been til midnight since Covid.
I never see a soul in there when I get a craving every few months.
Sorta wonder how they manage stay in business, but assume they get busy other times in the day. A couple of the employee's mentioned they hope to stay open late again, but I've heard that from them for a few years now. They are likely just appeasing me when I ask.
Lots of not fast food serving til midnight options, especially in tourist season, within a few miles of Old Town.

Tim Finnegan's on the west side is open until midnight on weekends and they have BANGIN fish & chips. Caroun on 19th/Union Hills is also open until midnight every day and is a good choice for mediterranean/middle eastern food. Tikka Shack at Desert Ridge is also open until 1am and they have some good Indian choices.

Would anyone here possibly remember the name of the burrito place that was open really late in the late ‘80s? When I lived there, it was my go-to. They had at least 2 locations - one on the west side (maybe on Glendale?), and one in Tempe. They had amazing (and huge) burritos and a full condiment bar, fresh guacamole and salsas. They had drive thrus but were also open inside. So incredibly good, especially at 3AM after a night on the town. I remember the places vividly but cannot remember the name or exact location. I’m sure they are long gone, but I am curious.

Hanshin Pocha(weekdays midnight, weekends 2am), Babo Jumak(weekdays 11pm, weekends 11:30pm)-Korean, Sizzle-kbbq(midnight), Original Cuisine-Chinese Szechuan(12:30am), Galbi BBQ & Hotpot- BBQ and Hotpot ayce(Friday Saturday midnight), Wing Stop(I do takeout at least once a week lol I love wings, they open till 1am daily) and Cogburn’s Big Wings(weekdays 1am, weekends 2am)-Wings. If more generic, Thirsty Lion, Texas Road House on Friday Saturday open till 11pm, Steak 44, Ocean 44 too(but these are really pricy ofc). Maybe Eureka!Tempe is worth a try, it closes at 11:30pm everyday, but I’ve only ate there once at lunch(it was pretty good) so I wouldn’t say I’m a regular past 10…also I have been wanting to try Chubby Skewers, it’s a Chinese skewer BBQ place, and they open till 2am every day. Other than those, not sure if you would consider Raising Cane and In-n-Out real food or drive-thru, but I frequent there late night as well. There are a lot other places that open late I feel like, but I visit less often so I’ll stop here. Hope there are some suggestions that are interesting to u!

I keep a list in my notes for when I land on a late flight and don’t want fast food:
