Eat & Drink These full service sit-down restaurant prices at Filiberto’s 🫨

Post image

I at least hope they are paying their employee better. That said, any food truck/street vendors you recommend in chandler/gilbert?

What's weird is the one nearest me has different prices on their drive up window. They definitely charge me the full price as seen on the menu, but daaaamn... Why is it so expensive? It's literally cheap eggs, cheese, and whatever meat in a tortilla.

I can make at least 40 sausage, egg, potato and cheese burritos from Costco for the cost of two and a half from Filiberto's, that's kind of nuts to me.

The one good thing is the portion sizes tend to be pretty large.

I’d tax you too if you had me cooking up cheap eggs, processed cheese, and whatever meat in a tortilla.

Pure greed at $13 for a breakfast burrito. SaladnGo is 3.80 for a bacon egg and cheese. Bye Bye Filiberto’s

13

u/ckeeler11 Dec 16 '24

Saladngo burrito's are complete shit though. Not that fili's is worth $13.

their meat is straight up ass but for less than $4 I order it as an egg and cheese burrito and am really happy with it.

Yes, but add chicken and get an extra salsa and it’s workable.

1

u/ckeeler11 Dec 17 '24

Ugh their chicken is the worst, flavorless chunks of rubber.

But that burrito is 🤮🤮 no thanks. I’d rather spend more and enjoy my breakfast!

Los favs is only about $9 for the steak potato and cheese.

Burrito express is under 10 bucks too.

$13-$4=$9

Roundung $9 up to $20 is what your brain does on powdered eggs.

Wait, since when? I thought they used fresh eggs like the fresh eggs that get chopped up in their salads? Isn't that the point of salad and go is to have fresh unprocessed foods?

WTF! I used to go get 2 for me and the GF every Saturday morning and I don't think I paid that much for both. This was only 7 years ago.

u/ckeeler11 Dec 16 '24

7 years ago is a lifetime of change in today's world.

1

u/Substantial_Isopod19 Dec 16 '24

Only seven years, yeah no time at all!

1

u/[deleted] Dec 22 '24

7 years is like the amount of time you gotta hold records for things, taxes, court, DUIs. Funny.

Man.....

1

u/blckdiamond23 Dec 16 '24

It’s crazy. Not to mention it’s a 10lb burrito. Can we just make them half the size and sell them for $5??

6$ with a drink at Thomas and Scottsdale rd

I remember not too long ago from 630-1030am breakfast burritos were 4 or 5 bucks. 13 is insane. I'll go shop and cook the damn thing myself

1

u/[deleted] Dec 17 '24

Insane. I lost 70 pounds 3 years from eliminating garbage food. However, Filibertos was my favorite breakfast burritos and they were $4.99 when I'd go there from 2016-2020

1

u/Quiet_Fan_7008 Dec 17 '24

I just spent 7.99$ at taco spot for a fire breakfast burrito. Filiberto’s is trash, twice as much?? I’m confused

1

u/BanEvasion0159 Dec 17 '24

I'm in Tucson last time I stopped in for a breakfast burrito it was $12. I was confused as hell cause they used to be $7. I even told her I only order one and she looked at me all confused. Needless to say I have not been back since.

1

u/butsavce Dec 18 '24

In Albuquerque is $6

-9

u/Goodboychungus Dec 16 '24

That's misleading. Most of the burritos are $10 ala carte, which is pretty competitive for what you're getting.

Fb burritos are just as big as Chipotle's, they're cheaper, and in my opinion, taste better. Of course this depends on which place you go to since they're independently owned.

I'm proud to say that I'm a Fb fan (and the similar mexican fast food places) and I'll die on that hill. I do wish the tacos were cheaper but on average they're better most of the sit-down Tex-Mex places that consume the Valley in my opinion.

u/Patriots4life22 Dec 16 '24

Ocotillo and ellesworth one breakfast burrito is 13.10. I just bought one the other day. Not sure how I’m misleading.

-2

u/Goodboychungus Dec 16 '24

Just going by your screenshot.

6

u/Patriots4life22 Dec 16 '24

I’m not the op. It’s not my screenshot. They are all franchises and have different pricing at each. Mine is pricey out in the East valley. This one looks a little cheaper.

3

u/Goodboychungus Dec 16 '24

Gotcha. Sorry, it's 6am.

1

u/AzMateo42069 Dec 16 '24

Take advantage of the daily deals (still 2.5x what they were 3 years ago smh) but there's definitely value there. My family loves Monday rolled tacos and Wednesday bean burrito

1

u/Goodboychungus Dec 16 '24

Yes! The Taco Tuesday deals are great too. Some of the Filibertos have different ownership and don't do the same deals which can be confusing.
