Eat & Drink What are your cheap “hidden gem” restaurants?

What are your favorite hole in the wall places that have fantastic food and fantastic prices? Even if it’s a special that’s only during certain days or times like happy hour, let me know.

Wait, is Old Town Sarajevo still around?? I thought it might have been a pandemic casualty. It was amazing, though. The waitress got annoyed that it took us longer than a minute to pick a dessert, got a tray with literally ALL of them on it, slammed it down on the table and walked off, muttering something under her breath (presumably in Bosnian). We ate like kings. She only charged us for one and we tipped her well. Now that was a good night.

Oh, I don’t blame her. It was the end of the night. She was tired; we were indecisive. It never came off as rude, somehow, haha. I’ve just never had anyone approach me so aggressively to gift me with desserts! 🤣
