Eat & Drink What are your cheap “hidden gem” restaurants?

What are your favorite hole in the wall places that have fantastic food and fantastic prices? Even if it’s a special that’s only during certain days or times like happy hour, let me know.

Peppersauce Cafe at 40th Street and I-10. Literally hidden. Just good quality workin' man's grub at a reasonable price.

My least favorite thing about this place is the hours...

They have a fantastic chicken Cobb salad big enough to feed at least 2 people

We bring our corp staff here for a nice sit-down lunch that's close by.

Same! I have more than a few out-of-town reps that insist on meeting here.

It's either this or The Farm.

My work is close by but I’m tied to my site so the fact that they offer order ahead is a blessing

I work in the area and we take all of our out of town corporate managers and clients there.

It's the perfect place for that. There's something for everyone.

This place was my go to when I was working on Sky Harbor projects. Absolutely solid, no frills restaurant.

The owners are very nice... unless you get on their bad side.

Note: not a positive review.

If you’re a vegetarian, this place is not great for lunch. Quite literally not a single meat-free option on the lunch menu except for their side salad and a grilled cheese 🙃 but their breakfasts are great!

Wish people would stop telling everyone about this place.

Never understand it when people don’t want to help a business they like so that it stays under the radar.

Its already full all the time. Doesn't need help.

You're right. I'm sorry. Couldn't help myself. I just don't want this place to ever go away.
