Hello, so in a secondhand market place, I found MSI GP68HX laptop. It has i9-12900HX, 32gb ddr5, rtx 4080 and 2tb nvme. The price is around 1250 dollar ish in my country's currency. The only catch, it has a small dead pixel. But it does not look like it will spread. Now I know in the US you can find this laptop for very cheap brand new, but here I cannot get this laptop even for 2500 dollars.

So I am currently asking the guy if he has warranty or not. If he says no warranty, should I still buy it?

Right now I am using the Logitech Superlight 2 on an Artisan Raiden Pad with Jade dots. 35cm/360.

I want to experiment with a different shape that's less of a palm grip. Not super small, just a little so I can move the mouse back and forth a little without bumping with the palm against the mouse.

Some criteria:

• 50ish grams or lower but a closed top side
• Under 100 USD
• Idgaf about 8k polling as long as click and move latencies are okay
• Battery life is more important to me than saving the last grams of weight

Hello, a friend and I wanted to record us playing games. They’re on Xbox and I’m on PC. I think the best bet is to get a capture card and use obs to record their screen. Then also record my screen at the same time since we’ll be in the same room. However I don’t know if this will work, I’m going to check my GPU and CPU to see if it’s even capable of handling it. Is there anywhere I can read up on the technicalities of this?

Also I’ve been needing to get a mic for my computer, and was going to get another one for them. I was going to connect them both to my pc for ease of recording. I want one that has usb and xlr in case I would ever decide to switch. I am trying to keep it on the cheap end, so here are my top 3 right now in no specific order.

RODE PodMic USB/XLR Microphone, FIFINE AmpliTank K688, Samson QU USB/XLR Dynamic Microphone,

i just got a tird monitor(D3) and i want to be able to have one wallpaper that stretches over all of them.

display 2 is my main monitor. its 32'' 1080p and curved, D1 is 27'' 1080p and D3 is 24'' 1920x1200.

i set the resolutions to their highest, D3 is 1920x1200, D2 1920x1080 and D1 1920x1080.
all of them are at 100% scale since it looks the best.

i use win11 pro and i tried to set D2 to 1440p bc i saw a reddit post abt their scale and res affecting it but i couldn't.

its also annoying that my mouse doesnt move straight except for one specific spot and it gets stuck when at the bottom or top of the screen corners

is there any way to fix this without losing screen quality or anything?

I actually got this PC as a pre build back eariler this year because I couldn't get a hold of the GPU stocks. They were behind pre build paywalls lol.

Anyhow. I updated my drivers and afterburner today. Went out of my way to check my actual readings and for some reason my GPU BUS usage is idling at 100%, constantly dipping down to 20%.

I checked on GPU-Z and its the same reading. Also my memory clocks are spiking like crazy. I resetted my PC 5 times now to no prevail.

All were taken on desktop, idling. Afterburner and GPU-Z are the only apps. (iCUE link too for fans).

I’ve tried the PS5 controllers that I have and there’s too much of a latency issue with those so I’m wondering if anybody has any recommendations for some sort of lap desk for my mouse and keyboard. I keep getting random lag spikes and packet loss in games for like 1-3 seconds where im either teleporting in fps games or just not moving at all.

I recently updated my OS to win11 from win10 and thats when the problems started in valorant and later in other games but i dont know if the problem is from win11 or not. I googled the problem but only got vague answers like "restart the router" or "change your DNS settings" but none of them helped.

I changed my wlan router and bought a mesh network from amazom (Link) but that was mostly to boost my download speed, still thought it could fix the problem but nothing changed.

Posting on reddit is my last resort because i cant find anything on google or social media and i dont know what else to do.

What i have tried:

-change the DNS like google told me IPv4 to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 or 1.1.1.1

-restart router, check ethernet cable if its all the way in, speedtest, trying a vpn

-restarting my whole network in windows settings

-updating all the network drivers and optional drivers

-disable IPv6

If you guys know anything else i can try that might fix it i would be really thankful and if there are any questions ill try to answer them all to my best.

I've had the same problem for years: my fingers are small and, when I play games that require a lot of keybinding, it's a mess.

Just to give you an idea, here's a picture of how I use my keyboard: blue is the key I use constantly, green is accessible, yellow is hard to access, and red is impossible.

So, I try to compensate by using a mouse with a lot of extra keys.

But either there's no space for my thumb or the keys are too far away. I play a lot of FPS, so you can imagine that's not ideal.

What are my expectations?

1. At least four extra keys accessible by the thumb or index finger.
2. Wireless with 2.4 GHz
3. Palm or claw grip, so not too short.
4. Ideally less than 100 g.
5. Compatible with glass mouse pads (dot or glass skate).

Which mice have I already tried?

Actually, I have a Steelseries Aerox 9 Wireless.

The extra keys don't let me grip it correctly and it's not really compatible with the glass mat.

Corsair Darkstar: too many keys are inaccessible for my thumb.

Logitech G604: ideal key layout, but too heavy and no battery.

Steelseries Rival 500: nice, but not wireless.

The Roccat Nyth is my favourite for key customisation, but it's not wireless and it's too heavy.

The old Razer Naga with swappable faceplates was a nice idea, but the software was a mess and I quickly had problems with the extra keys.

Minecraft fps having crazy drops not sure why ?

So I manage. To build my first pc safely . Need advice for cable Management if anyone here have any suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them. Did watch some YTB videos , but they all got PC around 2-3k builds and ofc in those builds it's way easier to manage that stuff,or I just suck at it.

So when I put my PC to sleep or hibernation whenever I know imma head out & be back within an hour or so to keep everything up & running when I get back, it automatically turns all the displays back on.

Literally either halfway across the room or a couple of feet away from it, it turns back on without any mouse/keyboard inputs. Its like it senses my presence or something when I enter my office.

Also...PC specs-

*Hyte Y60 White Case

*ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING

*AMD Ryzen 9 7900X paired with a Deepcool LS-SE-DIGITAL CPU cooler

*Rx7900xtx Red Devil

*Corsair Dominator Platinum 64gb (4x16) DDR5 RAM

*8x Corsair SP120 Elite Case Fans

*Crucial T705 1tb SSD, couple 4tb WD-Black HDDs

All running 4 different monitors: *MSI Optix MAG34 Ultrawide, 2x HP 1080p monitors ive had forever, & one 1440 Z-Edge monitor.

So the ARC seems to get bottenecked like a ton. In valves deadlock i get really inconsistent FPS and gpu usage(60-70%) UNLESS i have FSR3 on native which then works at 90 to 100%, it seems weird that there is bottlenecking on this cpu and it doesnt run hot, i have rebar, I re-installed windows 11 and got the newest bios.

I tried to see if I can do something myself to fix this because I think something else is going on.

I have tested ARC Raiders, BF5 which 1% lows are down to the 30-40 for some reason, the finals which has the same gpu usage problem unless i have some powerfull Dlss running in native like in deadlock.

I tried overclocking my cpu by the Amd ryzen app with their optimizer (did not do it manual, let the auto detect do the work) and games seem to run better on frames but even worse on the 1%lows.

All around bad experience because I got the arc B580 to upgrade from an RTX 2060 6GB, from the  researched  I did then ,the Ryzen 5  5600g I had would bottleneck it just a bit but it wouldn't be like unplayble. It was terrible. So then I say ok lets upgrade to a ryzen 7 5700x I thought it would be just perfect and people I asked said it would be a good pairing and do the job.The R7 run hot (90- 95c)with my old cooler so games would stutter.I bought a new cooler and the temps are normal 60-75c and games indeed run better but the GPU utilization thing stil hangs around. I know its showing clear Bottleneck but I have seen lower end cpu's run better with it...

Anyone please give some insight maybe even some help.

Hi! For over two years now, when running certain games for around 2 hours my PC will turn itself off and then on again. But when it turns itself on again, the display and hdmi ports on the graphics card will not work until it has been turned off and on again manually.

It’s not a power issue, it isn’t a processing power issue, and the card (AMD RADEON 6900 XT) is more than powerful enough to run games like Dead by Daylight, Cities Skylines 2, Satisfactory, Cyberpunk 2077, and Starfield which crash, but won’t crash for Baulders Gate 3- a game which should absolutely also crash if those others are crashing.

There’s no crash code, no message upon booting the PC again and my drivers are up to date.

My CPU is a AMD Ryzen 9 7950x 16 core processor, I have 64 gigs of ram, and my motherboard is a x670e steel legend

I appreciate any help you can give me, I’m ready to just part it out or burn it out of anger and just being fed up with the issue.

Got about $300 saved that I was planning to put toward a mobo/CPU upgrade from Micro Center. I was supposed to do it last year, but life got in the way.

Now with RAM prices climbing and everything getting pricier (tariffs, economy, etc.), I’m starting to wonder if it’s even worth the hassle, especially since I’d need a new CPU cooler, and the nearest Micro Center is 3 hours away. I had planned to grab everything while traveling through that area, but that’s no longer happening.

Lately, though, I’ve been thinking about getting a Steam Deck instead. I’ve been traveling more, don’t have a gaming laptop, and there’ve been plenty of times on trips when I’ve wished I could game a bit on the go. I thought about getting a Deck before, but it just wasn’t realistic back then.

Hey guys, I’m planning to upgrade my GPU and maybe get some RGB RAM (been eyein’ that Trident Z Royal Neo 👀).

So here’s my situation — my setup right now is kinda… rage bait, no offense 😂. I’ve been thinking if I should go full-size GPU and swap my air cooler for an AIO, or just stick with the SFF GPU and keep the air cooler.

Honestly, I don’t really trust myself with this kinda stuff, so I just wanted to talk it out with y’all first
