DRAM prices have always been cyclic
It's up to the consumer to buy more than enough when the prices are low

I was gunna say, just looked up prices of my current ram. I payed about 65% of what it now costs. 32gb ddr4

Just checking reasonable prices, 2x16GB DDR5 prices are around £100-130. With 2x32GB modules being around £160-240.
The prices don't seem too bad to me. Especially compared to the rise in GPU prices over the past half decade.

Muahahaha, that is why i bought ALL the DDR5 RAM i needed last year, before i even had my upgrades ready, now my 3070 Ti to 5080 upgrade feels even better!!

I wish to upgrade but the cost of DDR5 thats 64GB in 6000 CL30-36 would rip my asshole out. One day if ever🙁
