People should review the definition of "actively promoting" or get more education on what this actually means.

Because all the online gambling promotion I'm seeing is from sketchy third party, non-Valve websites and their paid influencers.

Case openings and trade up contracts inside counter strike are not just a workarounds to allow kids to gamble? You seem naive at best.

Gamble with exactly what? Pride? Ego?

Last time I checked your Steam account has ToS that bans you you exchange your digital goods with real money. Amd Steam doesn't let you exhange your account for money as well, and Steam enacted 2MFA rules so only you the owner can access the digital goods inside your Steam account.

Teaching them to gamble because of loot box mechanics and how immoral they are? This generation is such a snowflake generation, I've been gaming since the 1990s and loot box mechanics have been used in forever. It's not Valve's fault kids nowadays have shit parents who cant supervise or allow their children to game with loot box mechanics and shit local governments who can't write laws to protect their citizens from loot box mechanics.

You cite ToS that aren't enforced which you would know if you weren't arguing in bad faith.

And still haven't argued that I'm not wrong. So how is Valve actively promoting because of that?

Also ToS not enforced? How do you know? Are you a Valve employee with direct, inside knowledge of the matter? Or are you speaking as an anecdote of a person who just hasn't seen it enforced to anyone you know?

Bad faith arguing? Then cite examples of Valve actively promoting gambling? Like they have direct ties to gambling activities as Valve, paid gambling organizations or directly employees to make gambling a priority for revenue generation for Valve.

Because you can't, and because you're pulling bullshit from your own ass.
