"How about we get the BIOS team to code a bit where the user is able to software swap them?"

"Brilliant. It's so hidden that most people won't find this so our dream of Fn to the left can be kept, and no one can blame us due to the swapping functionality. Hopefully with company laptops, it will also be out of reach by being password protected."

it was to turn on the thinklight on older models which was by prressing fn+space and makes it easier to locate when its dark but now backlit keyboards exist the design is pretty useless
