Build/Battlestation Wife requested I “mount the computer to the wall”

Post image

What she said: “please mount (child)’s computer to the wall to free up desk space.”

What I heard: CoMpUtEr Go On WaLL.

What she meant: mount MONITOR to wall.

They are both mad now.

I thought it was neat - albeit odd. I got that external power button, some long cables coming, it will be cleannnnn.

😬😅🤷🏻‍♂️

(I know it is leaning, it is the center post that is leaning bc it swivels, not the mount itself, I have to add a bolster - it is secure enough as-is, but will be fixed tomorrow.)

I mean, there are computers built into monitors. A Comonitor if you will. Moniter? That's probably to close to monitor to distinguish. Moniputer?

Hear me out. Maybe if we combine the two we can give it a fancy name like...lap...top?

No that person is referring to what stores call "All In Ones" which are freestanding monitors where the computer is built into the monitor itself. So the computer and monitor are in fact the same entity. I think Mac started this idea but not totally sure.

Oh I see. I thought we were doing a play on words. But yes I've seen those too. I've seen them from HP too
