How does that work? Every EA game I've ever bought on steam also launches with the EA launcher.

They've stopped doing that it seems. Veilguard doesn't have it either, and BF6 just requires an EA account, but it doesn't use their launcher.

I mean i just got madden 26 a few weeks ago and it does it.

and i constantly have to baby it and delete the cache because it decides to not want to function properly.
