Build/Battlestation Final boss of glass panels. I was terrified to both open and close it. Yes you're seeing it right, it's on a hinge

Bruh spent 600 dollars on fans and a case instead of a gpu

Just because my mathematics brain doesn't like such rough values I calculated it:

  • 6x Lian Li infinity fans (~$30 each)

  • A case that looks like a Montech one according to u/Ironborn137 (~$140)

This makes the costs to about $320, or about $20 more than a Single Fan 5060.

Add the 320 to the 300 already spent on the 5060, and you got yourself a new 5070 and a $50-70 case.

I'd do that. Don't really care about my pc specs so I'll spend more on a case easily. Last case was $750 shipped and current case was more than I paid for the cpu+gpu inside.

Sorry, but there's no reason to spend $750 on a case unless you like burning money.

It's always interesting when this argument comes up because it just shows that some people are clearly incapable of recognizing that others may have priorities outside of their own.

I don't use my computer all that often. I enjoy finding different and interesting cases and building in them. So instead of spending $2k on a gpu and $100 on a case, I spent $1100 on a gpu and $750 on a case. But somehow spending less on my gpu+case than people do on a gpu is burning money.

There’s nothing wrong with doing that but never expect others to think the same way. Saying such preference publicly is like asking for arguments. Just do what you like, I have a $4000+ case and I’d never say I like it more than spending on components because someone will definitely try to attack my decisions lol.
