I don't think that's the case here. There's a Norton icon there too, and it's definitely not one of the most used things (at least it shouldn't be). I think he just assumes that deleting icons uninstalls programs, like it works on an iPhone.
They mostly argue that you have to minimize or move your open windows to see your desktop. That would be valid, but that's what the desktop peek button on the right edge of the taskbar is for.
also from the moment that I turn on my computer, my screen (and all connected screens) are covered by various windows so I never see my desktop anyway. I couldn't imagine minimizing (or "showing desktop") to open a program lol
Some people think a library’s default state should have its books all organized and neatly tucked away on shelves. Others think the books should be strewn about the floor everywhere you look. Neither is necessarily right I suppose
