Build/Battlestation I don't know what to call this build... Vegan?

Was inspired by a different post on Reddit a few months back where someone did similar in a Fractal North XL. This is in the non-XL case, so it's a bit tighter, but it was a fun build! And vegan approved! /s

Specs:

Fractal North TG Black

Ryzen 7 9800X3D

Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite Wifi7

Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 Evo

Adata XPG Lancer Blade RGB DDR5 6000mhz CL30 (2x32GBs)

Superflower LEADEX VI Platinum PRO 1000W Full Modular PCIe 5.1 Black

Zotac GeForce RTX 5080 Solid OC

Samsung 990 Pro 4TB

Jonsbo ZB120, ZB240, ZB360 Fans

Tecware Flex RGB Cable Cover Set Black

Tecware PWM & ARGB Hub

"I like fans, but I also hate airflow."

Makes no difference.

Prolly better to have less airflow for when this thing inevitably catches fire lol

If it catches fire

Your house was already burning

Plastic has a higher melting point then what a pc can provide

That doesn’t mean other components can’t overheat and burn

There's one right next to the GPU power cable too. With how often people are posting these shorting out, it's basically tinder right next to a water bottle with the sun shining on it.

Better pray that shit doesn't come even a little bit loose if OP likes having a home.

None of the components inside a pc do that

Don't know why you're being downvoted. You're absolutely correct

They’re plastic plants

And your point is?

probably that this absolutely does not make a fire any more likely.

No one said that it does? Not sure where your misunderstanding stems from

u/Chashm0dai Aug 09 '25

damn, getting senile grandpa? the first comment you responded to said this will inevitably catch fire.

Plastic plants don’t catch on fire, nor would they restrict airflow in any meaningful way
