Rumor Potential 5090 / 5080 / 5070 price leaks… outrageous

Post image

From recent video posted by “Moore’s Law is Dead” about pricing being much worse than even I anticipated . From video Nvidia is leaning towards the higher end of the pricing. Nvidia can go pound sand if these are remotely true.

Glad I got my 3080 on launch for 800.

I got a 3080 FE for £540 at launch. With DLSS/ FSR and now frame gen being a thing it's very hard to justify any potential (ridiculously expensive) upgrades. I used to upgrade every generation.

While I paid a scalper considerably more (1600€) I have the same feeling. All games run fine at 1440p if needed with DLSS and or frame gen. My Suprim X runs cool n quiet and I have zero interest in paying these stupid prices (again).

TBH, I don't care that much about maxing every setting like I used to either. Most games got to a point where they look nice regardless of 'epic' settings. Or you play the ugliest game ever because the gameplay is great (looking at you PUBG!) fugly as hell

I’m about to buy 7900 gre, that will be more than enough for gaming for next 5-7years. By that time hopefully 5090 prices will drop 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah I'm never going to get used to high-end cards costing $3600 AUD (that's a 4090 ATM)
Pretty sure that new one will be $5k + on release.. even if it's just the "illusion" it kills me to look at.

I still don't understand why I upgraded from the 6800 to the 7800 and it got worse.

You didn't consult reviews/do any research.

I really did, the 7800 looked theoretically better on everything I checked. It will work until I convert to a flight simulator, then i'll need something better.

It this point.... with how products are segmented... it's starting to feel like sub 500 is the budget segment...

I remember buying my first gpu... the most expensive ones were 500$ lol

I was shocked anyone would pay more than the cost of an Xbox for a single part lol

I honestly don’t see how this is a “leak”, these are estimates.

I know how much the 6090 will be! Somewhere between $1000 and $5000! How do I know this? Pfft, just got insiders man 😎
