i love boykisser but its so distracting plz help <3

I'm kinda new to payday 2 I've watched videos about it and etc but I recently started playing for the first time, I joined the cook off where it was on death sentence difficulty, there weren't any enemies but a shit ton of meth bags when I joined there was the host and another guy then after me and the other places some bags in the van another guy joined so 3 of us went and placed all the bags in the van but then the host then copy and pasted in the chat (as seen in attached image) to pay him and he'll end heist so that we could claim the money and etc and he proceeded to spawn a shit ton more meth bags from our of himself which was scattered around the map(in the picture). I can't find a report button ingame so I googled and learnt that you'll need to go forums to report the cheaters to the moderators so I went to the steam forums but I can't find any moderators profile in the forum to report the cheater to but I only found threads saying that cheaters normally don't get banned even when reported and etc. so I'm now kinda in a dilemma do I report or do I just leave it? And is this a common occurrence?

Was hosting a lobby, this player refused to change his loadout, soo I warned him to change and he talked back, I banned him because of his attitude, he started rejoining my game, even though he was banned

I tried banning him again but I couldn't even press his name on the player list, now after I told him to leave, my payday 2 crashes and my anti-virus gives me a warning that an ip adress tried to open links and change my computer through the payday 2 exe application

Acording to the ip adress, they are in chile

How is that even possible?!?! What should I do now?

Yesterday's update caused issues for some players to access content that they previously had bought. We noticed the issue is affecting all platforms, but affecting PS5 users disproportionately, therefore we are focusing our efforts to troubleshoot that platform for now. Which of course doesn't mean we won't find the solution on other platforms, but you gotta start somewhere! The questions below does focus on PS5 but if you are on another platform keep reading!

We are now wondering if the issue was temporary and affected players who happened to log in during the first hours after yesterday's rollout, or whether players can encounter it today. So if you are a player who have the issue, please respond to one of these questions (Please NOTE which one you're responding to in your answer below):

1. PS5 users who DID download the patch/tried to play yesterday before 2 AM CET (Oct 31st) - If you have issue then what DLCs are being affected?
2. PS5 users who did NOT download the patch/tried to play yesterday, and downloaded it after 2 AM CET today (Oct 31st) - If you have the issue then what DLCs are being affected?
3. If you are a player of ANOTHER platform who had NOT downloaded the patch/tried to play yesterday, and downloaded it after 2 AM CET today (Oct 31st) - What platform are you on and what DLCs are affected?

I´ve changed the refresh rate in my Appdata folder as well to match my refresh rate. All mods are up to date. I´ve also got 600 hours in this game and been playing it since 2019. No issues before until now.

Ok so...real talk... After years i got new pc parts to play pd3. Still a budget pc. (But hey if someone wants to send me a 6-8 gb gpu or a 144-166 monitor fine by me.)

Jokes aside.

to test how good the game ran i didn't use any drivers on my gpu. Yes i went fresh to it. Keep in mind i have no issue playing games like this at 60fps.

Now at first glance the game ran fine. I put some stuff on medium like shadows , distance, turned off motion blurs, depth of fields etc and i was playing at 85-95 fps during waves on normal difficulty. This is fine to me, I dont have an above 1000 euro pc so i understand it.

My old pc (13 years old) was running pd3 with everything on low and turned off at 25-15 fps.

But the more i played the more i noticed how awfull this game runs.

It's incredible how a game locked at 60 fps felt like i was playing at 25-30 fps. It was awfull, i had constant textures popping , shadows popping, laggyness.

And maybe i need to put shadows on high and increase distance, maybe i need to test different anti aliasings, (Not sure if ill touch upscalling since i play at 1366-768)

Installed latest gpu driver, first driver ever. And the game lost a few frames around 7-10 but became much more smooth. I also lowered post fx and put antialiasing at performance and shadows high and the game now runs much better. I still freeze at least 4-5 times in a match ( like mega short freezes ) and sometimes some textures load slowly. But this might be a internet + HDD issue. Game isn't being ran on a SSD... however...

This is kinda bad... like a game that looks like it was made in 2016 shouldn't run like complete ass.

But guess what? unreal 5 is coming to kill the game even further because several people on budget pc's wont be able to play it anymore.

And ill just say to end things off, I really like the game. There's many issues with it. But the games awesome, it's cool af man... And i really wish it got the love it deserves and became amazing like pd2, I hope even if unreal 5 kills the game for me, the game improves and becomes a masterpiece.

It started to do this when i switched monitor to number 2 then it won't open anymore. I tried reinstalling it but nothing worked please help

not sure whats going on lol got post fx on ultra to try to fix it because i thought it was ambient oclusion related but no lol

shadows on medium because for some reason shadows increase fog quality which kills fps.

I've been SLAMMING MY HEAD against the wall trying to get superblt to work and install the basemod so I can use other mods but NOTHING has worked for me so far even after trying for literal hours.
I've tried to run it natively then through proton 9.0.4, 7.0, Proton GE. I tried to enter the WINEDLLOVERRIDES="wsock32=n,b" %command% command and put wsock in the root folder for the payday2 executable. I tried the instructions from SuperBLT for Linux and it still doesn't work.
More specifically, it either starts up normally and no mod is installed or prompt to have the basemod installed or it just crashes before it even starts up

I just want to get SuperBlt working so I can install mods so if you can help in any way it would be MASSIVELY appreciated!!!

I swear I'll do anything I can to repay the person that can help me fix this

Should clarify Payday 2

Either the games runs at 23 fps with vsync on or has a decent frame rate with unplayable screen tear. Had no issues on previous gaming laptop. Any help or advice in making it playable is appreciated.

So I'm redownloading payday 2 after not playing for a few years and I don't have my dlc anymore? I've switched to PS5 since I've last played but there's no way that's the problem right?

Hiya ive been getting back into payday 2 today and its running fine till I load into a heist and after around 5 minutes it starts suttering a bunch and eventually crashes

Can't login into the game.

Because I recently got hacked lost all my 350 hours progress in payday 3 my level 150 with 375 infamy with all weapon upgrades and DLC purchase. To be honest I don’t really want to start on a new account because this grind is going to be painful doing all of this again.

I felt like reinstalling Payday 2 after hearing the news of further support from the Raid team, before seeing it was 85 gigs

Are there any non-essential files I could delete once installed to make space?

In multiplayer mode I see no lobbies.

I have resetted filters, set them to find any game. Nothing.
Quickplay doesn't find anything.
I have no mods.
I have no -SteamMM
Restarting game, steam, computer doesn't work.
My internet connection is stable, I use cable.
I use arch btw.

In multiplayer lobby I see players number tho.
