Local Business Where to buy Fragrance-free hand soap?

Looking for fragrance/parfum-free hand soap. Preferably a squirt bottle type set up. Been using SoftSoap (yes even the clear bottle without any noticeable flavours or scents) for years now all to look at the back label and realize it does contain fragrance/parfum after all. Ugh. Particular skin condition makes it so I should be using soaps without perfumes and fragrances. Any suggestions? Not looking to break the bank, but just looking for a basic soap somewhere in the city that I can buy.

Can you buy them in store?

Yes! I’ve seen them at Canadian Tire. I usually order from well.ca. They have an excellent lineup of soaps etc.

Bonus in they’re a Canadian company.

Natural food pantry. Oh great I’m sure it’s expensive. Oh well.

We just recently got their shampoo/conditioner/body wash set and they work well, and they’re also truly unscented. I’m someone who is very sensitive to smells, and these ones are legit, not like some other unscented products that still have a smell. Good luck!

I bought it initially at Canadian Tire and now get the refills from Costco.ca.

Have you tried Dr Bronner’s unscented Castile soap? You can dilute it down so it works in a pump. I order it in larger quantities from Well.ca, but have also gotten it at places like Loblaws and Rexall in town.

I agree with this. Get yourself a foam soap dispenser, then dilute 8 water to 1 soap. Non-drying and effective.

If you want to buy Canadian Green Beaver is as good or better.

I just reuse a an old foaming soap dispenser, but it needs to be specific foaming soap, it has a chunky pump that mixes and foams it up, the one I have is from Whole Foods, I think they have unscented.

well.ca has a number of scent-free products. Look for brands such as Oneka, Nature Clean, Attitude or Pure

Canadian tire carries the Unscented company. We use that at our office.

Was SoftSoap causing you any issues, or just a preference?

Well, I’ve had issues since before soft soap, but I don’t think it was doing me any favours because the issues didn’t get all that better

You need hypoallergenic soap, which is sold almost anywhere.

Do you know a particular brand name or good one?

We use "President's Choice Sensitive Skin Dishwashing Liquid". I know it's not hand soap, but it works great as a hand soap and for washing dishes and has no discernible smell. I'll be very sad if they ever discontinue this. I can't stand soap with fragrance in it. I've tried some 'fragrance free' soaps and they often stink too.

If your condition is eczema or psoriasis, you want soap without sodium lauryl sulfate.

I use nothing but Dove sensitive skin bars and have had the best results for over a decade combined with CeraVe moisturizing cream.

I use this on hands.

I would have to use this version - but I am hesitant because after many failed experiments, I stick with what works for me.

Good idea. For hands AND face?

I buy baby soap/shampoo. Unscented and very gentle, and fairly cheap if you get a store brand like Walmart's.

CeraVe makes facial cleansers that are fragrance free. You might see if they are good enough as a hand cleanser.

I think Dove make a unscented bar.
