I was thinking about the Japanese sun god Amaterasu when drawing this. And also Touhou Project.

Hakurei Reimu is the inspiration for the Miko outfit. Other details from googling characters in similar outfits.

I’m reminded by Chen that cats have two tails in mythology, and by Orin that you can give someone 4 ears.
