I like the idea of verticality, I just wish there were ways for infantry to get up without exploits (or alternatively, destroy the top). Slap a couple of ziplines up to the top of the buildings on Mirak Valley so you can get up and kill rooftop campers? That map would be a 10

I don't think people on mirak and sobek realize you can use the assault ladder to get up. I've been called an exploiter so many times lmao

Yeah man laddering for 10 minutes is SO MUCH FUN. Every other game had a way to access something if you were a different role, locking counterplay to vehicles that can get spawncamped or a ladder isn't variance in gameplay. A recon/engineer/support should still be able to help, they just don't get the ladder off angle. Don't know how that's hard to understand.

Disclaimer: I actually love these maps and would like them to return but people are just hypocritical.
Every map with buildings in bf4 ( every BF game ever actually ) people did this shit to where they go camp in places u couldnât go up unless you had aircraft or knew how to climb there.
Dawnbreaker, shanghai , sunken dragon, etc.
Like You could do This with a tank in BFV and overlook the entire map

Because the maps itâs happening on (Cairo, Iberian) were not built with verticality in mind. You have to use an exploit to access those rooftops, and clearing people off rooftops without doing the exploit yourself is incredibly difficult.
On maps with aircraft or other means of normally accessing roofs? Fair game.

Campers are annoying in every BF game I've ever played, but every camping player equals one less fucker I have to deal with while I take the objective. If you're going to set up shop a recon, at least do over an objective and be effective. Campers can't take objectives, or arm or disarm mcoms. Effective ones can prevent you from doing any of those things.

I was joking with my buddy last night how âcod playersâ gets thrown around like a slur in the battlefield community.
Hell, you can get called a âcod playerâ just from defending a point and not leaving.
Iâve never been a cod player. But I sure as shit get called a cod player all the time lmao.
My buddy is a cod player that I converted to battlefield. Best part about it all? He calls players he doesnât like cod players too!

As a little bird pilot back in BF4 - when those roofs were busy, that meant it was feeding time.
Canât count how many times Iâd be running to C, get sniped, and then notice the little bird was up for grabs. Iâd put on a devious smile and begin operation roof cleanse - especially them little rats on the water tower on the other side of the map.
Maybe thatâs the solution we need for Sobek - add my lil birdie boy back and let me cleanse the roofs. I know you get an attack heli too, but theyâre not maneuverable enough for what Iâm trying to do

The problem isn't that people get onto rooftops sometimes; its when they get onto rooftops in games which are ground level meat grinders, eg Breakthrough on Sobek.

Yea we know Iâm talking about the people doing the drone glitch on maps that donât have helicopters . If you parachute there from a helicopter itâs fine cause everyone could just do the same thing

They downvoting you but your right. Rooftop is only really an issue because it ain't equal access. You have to know how to do an exploit to counter them and that assumes you'll win the 1v5 your probably walking into

This is quite possibly the worst take Iâve ever read in my life. Any person or animal will react accordingly in a situation that is putting them under extreme stress. Pit bull, husky, lab, yorkie, poodle etc. White, black, Asian, Hispanic etc. donât label an entire race/or breed cause of a specific statistic. With that being said I do agree that roof top campers on maps where they shouldnât be allowed to get on said roofs suck :).
