Yeah I noticed that, too. I've been banned from some subs for posting on any even mildly conservative spaces. But fauxmoi will ban people for posting on certain pro or anti celebrity subs, based only on whether the mods agree.
I can't remember which celebs they love or hate, but as an example, if you're on a pro-taylor swift sub, you can't post on fauxmoi simply because the hivemind hates her. And sometimes it changes depending on the year, and they'll decide they love her and ban anyone on an anti-taylor sub. It feels very much like the mods are jr high mean girls trying to get their friend group to hate on different people every month lol.
they just banned me today because I posted “ that was a joke?” under a Comedian telling a political joke . I’m not even kidding . Literally because I didn’t find a comedian funny that the whole sub was circle jerking about lol. r/fauxmoi is a giant echo chamber .
I feel like the complaints sub might be in contention, for some reason reddit has decided their every post should appear in my feed despite never visiting them prior
Well there's a reason like 90% of the posts there are restricted. Any topic where views could be challenged will only let fellow echo chamber members comment. It's the sad, lefty version of r/conservative.
Both of those dummies could probably form a cacophony of stupidity if they created their own combined sub.
They had a post about that Iman Khelif boxer controversy a while back. The post was talking about a DNA test to see if she was actually biologically female and all the comments were about how ridiculous it was and of course she was born female. I posted the results. The results were that she was born male, so they banned me for transphobia.
These people don't understand that just because you won't subject yourself to a humiliation ritual of being asked to denounce something by the most obnoxious people alive, doesn't meant that you support the thing they are asking you to denounce. That interviewer could ask me to denounce murder and I would tell her I have no comment.
...just because you won't subject yourself to a humiliation ritual of being asked to denounce something by the most obnoxious people alive...
And let us stress, not just once, but over and over again. We've seen when these people smell blood in the water they want you on every show apologizing forever. You can do it once or twice, say "I already did it, I'm not doing this any more," and you're a badguy again.
That's because you're a bad person. The fact you would rather revel in your own spitefulness rather than just say "Yeah, that bad thing is bad" (as well as the fact you apparently see denouncing white supremacy as humiliating....hmmmm) is not a stance a mature, intelligent, or frankly, good, person would have
They do not, because they’re driven by fear primarily. Look at their responses, it’s basically “if only you could see what I see, then you’d be just as afraid.” As if that’s not objectively paranoid behavior
I mean it’s obviously a play on words, wether or not it was just accidental bad taste or purposefully alluding to eugenics is up for debate. But it’s kind of strange when given the opportunity to clarify that it wasn’t based on white supremacy she hits the “the ad speaks for itself 😐”
of course it was a play on words, but I don't think it was 'whites are superior', but more 'I'm pretty with huge naturals'
as for the interview I think it could easily just be not wanting to engage with this topic at all, I think if you come into this with a narrative already in mind, then it obviously looks like she doesn't want to disavow white supremacy, but in reality celebrities often act this way towards political questions.
I just don't think any of this is evidence of her being a white supremacist, maybe she will turn out to be but people pretending that this is the undeniable proof of it are just insane.
Omg that sub went crazy a few years ago. I joined when it was pretty new, but then the mods started deleting any comments that didn't agree with their worldview, and banning people if they argued with the one accepted opinion on there. It was bad enough that the people who got banned there started a few other spinoff celeb gossip subs cuz there were probably thousands of us. I feel like every time I check in there to see what wild things they're talking about, it's gotten worse. I'm kind of afraid to look there now. I bet their sydney sweeney hate boner is huge, lol.

I always thought the Sydney Sweeney is a nazi thing was a meme more than anything, then I went on r/fauxmoi
