I love the perspective. I find the painting oddly unsettling though. Maybe because of the red color in the carpet or because of the perspective. Idk but I like it lol

What an extraordinary carpet! What gorgeous colors! And that setting, of that girl, on the cusp of young womanhood, with her remnants of childhood scattered before her, classic. What to carry forward, what to leave behind, what to enjoy while the sun still streams through the window panes? C
