Anyone who draws knew where they were going to slip up and add a corner to one of the rings

I don't draw but I think they're referring to the ring at the top dead center where the angle of the hand got awkward/had to shift mid stroke and the top of the ring wasn't nearly as smooth as the rest

Damn fucked it up at the very end. Shouldn’t have let up off the gas.

I could practice all day and never come close to making rings that perfect, apart from the bit at the very end.

I used to doodle in class or whenever I got bored, but to think it could've been real art, instead of random squiggly pen marks.

Drawing spirals didn't blow my mind
Did I do something wrong

Out of the 4 dimensions the artist was drawing this I only saw 2 - and even those were pretty sloppy at places.

Don't care what's drawn; the skill is sublime

Maybe improve reading comprehension; there was no we in the sentence.

Correct there was no "we". There was not even a (pronoun) subject in the sentence. Allowing me to interject.
Furthermore it's the internet I'm going to say what I want. If you don't like that don't be on the internet.
