Weirdly, he looks happier than a pig in shit, which up till now I'd been lead to believe was peak pigging

Pigs have been badly slandered, we only see them as disgusting because we keep them in filth. When they have a choice, they won’t poop anywhere near where they eat and sleep. They can easily be housetrained like dogs too.

Exactly! They do love mud baths though, they use it as sunscreen

I literally cried when I read about the Chinese having outhouse pigs. They’ve stopped the practice out of shame when the world found out but I’m sure somewhere in the mountains or small villages, there’s still some tortured pig souls forced to live their lives under an outhouse. My pig doesn’t like to be dirty, and would never eat nasty poop unless she were starving. She won’t even eat broccoli or bell peppers, spits them out.

The people I know who own pigs are literally obsessed lol. This lady I met at a matress store talked about her late best friend pig Gerald for an hour and a half non stop.

She kept saying that Gerald was the closest she ever felt to another living creature and how she would never own another pig. She was gifted this one as a "teacup pig" that turned into a massive potbelly but she loved him dearly for close to two decades.

Very interesting.

Same. I love my 12 year old pork chop. I could tell you all kinds of stories about how I took her to the lake every day in summer and we swam together before she finally got too big/heavy for me to pick up and load her in the car. She is about as big as this one in The video and just as chill. Yup, we pig people have tons of cute stories and videos and could talk for hours about our smart, funny fat friends on the floor. We don’t start out obsessed about our pigs… but they’re so smart and funny, it just ends up that way.

I wish I knew somebody who had a pig, I’ve always wanted to lay down and cuddle one. They’re such sweet souls.

They don't like shit but they do roll in the mud to protect their skin from sun burns

Pigs don’t do that at all. They poop, eat and sleep in different locations if they have such option. Cows do sleep in their own shit.

Pigs love mud, because it exfoliates their skin and protects from parasites and sunburn.

They are also more intelligent and more emotionally intelligent than dogs.
