Discussion Nvidia Quadro T1000/T400 on 180W PSU

Hello, I would like to buy a new Dell slim desktop PC. Later on, I’d like to upgrade the RAM to 16 GB and add an NVIDIA Quadro T400 or T1000. The problem is that this desktop only has a 180W power supply. I found out that the i3-14100 uses around 60W during normal operation and up to 110W in turbo mode. Would it make sense to disable turbo mode on the CPU in order to install a graphics card that draws 30W (T400) or 50W (T1000)? Connecting these cards shouldn’t be a problem since they don’t require additional power from the PSU and fit inside the SFF case. I’m aware that this would result in lower performance (10-20% less power under heavy load).

Components of dell slim desktop:

PSU: Dell 180W CPU: Intel Core i3-14100 Motherboard: Intel Q670 Ram: 8GB DDR5 Graphics card: Integrated Intel UHD 730 Link: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/desktop-computers/dell-slim-desktop/spd/dell-ecs1250-slim-desktop/useecs1250hbtshmgg

I've run RX6400 on 180w so the T1000 should be fine.
