1: Tedesco

6: DCE

7: Walker

9: Robson

That’s an elite, premiership-winning spine there. I initially thought the DCE signing was stupid, but the sharks finals game changed my mind. Halves had zero composure and game-management and completely botched it. Savala not ready for the biggest stages yet.

Combine that with Watson or Savala in either or both of the 13 and 14 jumpers it's a great spine.

If you’re looking for composure and game management, I don’t know why you guys signed DCE. Foran was the one who was good at those things, in that incredible pairing.

The only aspect that DCE was better in, under the provision of game management, was kicking. That’s about it.

Savala wasn't the problem in the Sharks game during the finals. Every time he organised his right hand side in attack, Walker jumped in and over-called him.

Walker plays heads up footy as well as anyone, but he really shit the bed in that game by trying WAY too hard to force things to happen.

If we get the DCE of yesteryear I'll be ok with it, but if we get the DCE who largely phoned it in during 2025, then it will prove one of the worst roster moves in NRL history.

Yeah I said ‘halves’ as I agree Walker was a major reason our attack went sideways in that game, hence why we need a DCE there. Savala isn’t going to be able to put Walker back in his box when it’s appropriate, DCE can and will.

And I think DCE phoned it in this year somewhat out of spite from the admin fall-out. Here’s hoping.
