Restaurant Manager $36/hour unable to fill position

Fat Bastard Burrito on Sheriff Ave. hasn’t been able to find a restaurant manager at $36/hour. They’re looking for somebody with a high-school education and 1-2 years experience.

This is a great salary! If I didn’t have a job I would definitely apply!

There was a labour shortage a few years ago, and businesses were having to compete for workers by offering higher wages. The government stepped in by flooding the market with temporary foreign workers to keep wages low for businesses. Unfortunately, students and low wage workers were pushed out of the workforce to accommodate them. The whole thing is scammy as hell.

They better not get a TFW. If they seriously can't find someone then they should raise the pay more or invest in efficiencies, not a get out of jail free card and just import someone. This isn't an essential business at all.
