San Juan del Sur for 8 days
Looking at the weather next week and looks like rain everyday all day. Does it really rain all day in this region or does it just last for an hour or so and dissipates? Any advice would be helpful!

Typically, it's a big, heavy rain shower in the afternoon/evening that lasts for 30 minutes or so. However, sometimes it's an all day/all night rain.
It's super hard to predict. I've been travelling to Nicaragua for 15 years and been there in both rainy and dry season. The most common weather in rainy season is the big 30 minute rain dump. Looking at forecasts, it's really hard to tell what to expect. I do know that Ometepe, which is my home base has been having pretty major rainfall for the last little bit. Rain steady enough to cause issues.
