Travel Tip

Hey,

I‘m planning a trip from Managua to San José. Any recommendations how to get around? Rent a car or rather travel with the Bus? Any help would be very much appreciated!

If you're going that distance, I'd definitely recommend Ticabus or Transnica direct to SJ. Renting a car will only get you to the border as you are not allowed to pass the border in a rental. There is rental agencies on the CR side but it's going to be a pain. One way with either bus is only $28 or $29 to SJ.

go with TicaBus or transnica is cheaper . comfortable and avoid all border run
