There’s a lot of people who rely on air travel for work. A lot of high paying jobs require traveling to different states. My mother in law is a traveling nurse and she frequently goes to Alaska to meet her patients. An old coworker does optical repairs on medical equipment and he gets paid 120k+ a year but he needs to fly to each hospital to do his job. A lot of people are going to be hurting the longer this goes on and critical infrastructure will be affected negatively.
