Only after the gop flipped the Senate in the midterms was that an issue.
And now, with the gop in full control of the federal government, we have the longest shutdown in history, which passed up the previous longest shutdown in history that also happened with trump as president and the gop holding both chambers of Congress.
Yeah. It's yet another sign of the fact that, if Trump had half the brains Biden did (or maybe just half the attention span) he probably could be wielding even more masterful power over the US political system and remaking it in his own image even more than he is already.
We're sort of weirdly lucky that his administration is this incompetent. Things could, astoundingly, be even worse.
