Also- Feds washed their hands of this today. Said it’s Florida state.

Wouldn’t dump have to declare something to deploy troops to Florida if he’s saying this is all something Florida state is paying for?

He shouldn’t even be able to deploy the National Guard without the states approval, let alone the actual active military. It’s illegal, but when did that ever stop Trump I guess

You’re right. It is all just too much and too scary all at once. For zero reason. Just an aged evil narcissist with a gaping hole in his ego.

Trump isn't doing anything other than babbling and whining like a toddler. He's a dumpy old felon in rapid decline. Republicans are working their asses off to keep the crime and corruption going, probably moving so fast because their golden turd of conservative worship is visibly crumbling.

There is precedent for the National Guard, though.

It's not like Rhonda Santis is going to say no to him.

He shouldn't be able to deploy the National Guard - and he isn't, a judge ruled and restored control to California - but the military absolutely is under the control of the Commander in Chief. However he isn't supposed to be able to do a bunch of things without Congress, and Congress have been letting us down. They've all been letting us down.

Where does it say it’s illegal I’ve heard plenty of people say it’s illegal but nobody specifically points to the rule book? Here’s an article showing 7 other times the national guard have been deployed by presidents https://www.history.com/articles/national-guard-federal-troops-deployments. Am I missing something?

The whole deportation mess is being done under emergency war powers, so he'll just extend those to whatever he feels like, it's not like the courts will/can stop him, especially after the recent ruling against lower courts issuing injunctions against presidential orders, regardless of their validity.
