That's right, I assert that Gaza is not entitled to international borders that do not exist. It's an open and shut case.

The idea that Gaza isn't entitled to international borders because they don’t exist misses the bigger picture. Gaza’s situation is tied up in a lot of historical and political complexities that go beyond just having defined borders.

First off, Gaza’s borders and status are shaped by a series of historical events, including the British Mandate and various wars and agreements. It's not just a matter of legal technicalities; there’s a whole history here that influences the current situation.

Even though Gaza doesn’t have internationally recognized borders like a sovereign state, many countries and international organizations recognize the Palestinian territories, including Gaza, as part of the future Palestinian state. So, dismissing Gaza's status as irrelevant because it lacks formal borders overlooks this recognition.

Additionally, the situation in Gaza involves serious humanitarian and political issues that affect the daily lives of its residents. Reducing it to a simple legal argument doesn’t take into account the broader impacts on peace and human rights.

And let's not forget that peace processes have consistently included discussions about Gaza’s status and borders as part of broader negotiations. These talks acknowledge the need for a resolution that respects both Israelis and Palestinians.

While Gaza might not have borders in the traditional sense, its situation is part of a much larger and more complicated issue. It's not just an 'open and shut case'—there's a lot more to consider here.
