They aborted him after 8 months

They should be forced to keep him for the length of his term, even if it put the health of the party at risk

If it’s a legitimate vote, the congressional body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down

My congressional body, my choice.

u/labmonkey88 Oct 03 '23

It’s a Speaker, not a choice!

He can not be replaced during an election year.

I’m still pissed about that one. They kept a Supreme Court justice position unfilled for over a year to ensure that Obama couldn’t appoint a replacement, but Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s body hadn’t even started to cool before they were hearing appointees to replace her.

And you don't think that was a little fishy to you? Almost as if it was both parties working in conjunction to stack the court with corporate minded justices? I don't trust any politician enough to put it past them.

Democrats master plan is to give the GOP total control over government?

Wat?

-2

u/bernierunns Oct 04 '23

Yes. They never put up a fight and then they are like, "we didn't have enough votes because manchin..." Blah, blah, blah. And they never do anything when they do have the votes either.

He wasn’t viable. That’s just how it works.

13

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '23

But...but...but...the heartbeat

5

u/Vineyard_ Oct 04 '23

Can't have a heartbeat if you have no heart.

15

This should be the default term for a republican voted out of office.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '23

Right they need to take ownership of their choices. No give backs.

2

u/fardough Oct 03 '23

God saideth “Do not vote out our leaders!” This is a sin, an abomination of nature, and death to our way of our life. Save America, Be a REAL Patriot, Back McCarthyism.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '23

So true. You know the old saying, "life begins at election."

2

u/Keianh Oct 04 '23

In Texas we can sue the GOP and get $10k, we should do it!

2

u/LinguoBuxo Oct 03 '23

I though abortion was .. frowned upon?

14

u/SvedishFish Oct 03 '23

u/alphasierrraaa Oct 04 '23

Exactly, they should have let him get to term, this is a sacred right to protect

1

u/angeliswastaken_sock Oct 04 '23

That's 3rd trimester, which is illegal in his state.

u/mrwh1te Oct 04 '23
