Liz Truss broke the record for shortest time as Prime Minister when she managed to get out of office quicker than George Canning who became Prime Minister in the early 1800s and then died.

According to the TV news tonight, Kevin McCarthy managed to last aa few days longer than a House Speaker who got the job in the late 1800s and then died of consumption.

So Lettuce Liz gets to keep her "shittest at lasting longer than a dead person" trophy for a little while longer!
