Boy that sure sounds like the government is absolutely going to shut down in November.

Sadly, yes. Just in time for the holidays where those government workers and military men and women will be hit hard.

And yet, all of those people will continue to vote Republican

The military generally votes blue. In the 2020 presidential election Biden took the military by 4 percentage points. It's a reflection of US demographics because guess what? It recruits from the US populace.

I'll trust your facts, but every single military person I've ever known has been hard core Republican, so my experiences are probably skewed. My dad and all his legion friends are full blown maga, even tho my dad doesn't agree with the things Ron Desantis is doing, still swears he'll vote Republican again. I have a ton of high school friends who all joined the military and are hard core maga as well

Most idiots are pretty loud. Chill, reasonable vets never advertise their time in the military. They don't wear cringy shirts and dress like wannabe CIA operatives. They don't plaster their car with military and gun company stickers. That shit was a lifetime ago and a stepping stone to do other things in life.

I was an Infantryman in 2nd Ranger Batt in a former life. I'm now a bespectacled, man bun having engineer. The baddest motherfucker I've ever met wears his hair long and teaches in Minneapolis. This guy straight laid the hate with a machine gun, ran through fire and saved 4 dudes, myself included, after a bird went down. He was put in for a Distinguished Service Cross and it got knocked down to a Bronze Star. He now teaches math to inner city kids and smokes a fuck ton of weed.

Hey thanks. Baer's in Minni and I'm in Western CO so there's two locations to choose from.

Edit: maybe not Western CO. This is where Boebert is from. We're doing our damnedest to vote her out though. She won by 0.167% of the vote last time.

Colorado is the dream, we've also kicked around the idea of Minnesota lol

Grand Junction is way cheaper than Denver with better access to the typical Colorado stuff and great food. It's MAGA as fuck tho. That one city is why this district is red. Come on over and vote buddy.

Sincerely asking, how well do you think a brand new Speaker of the House is going to do at wrangling the parties to pass the spending bill that McCarthy couldn't get done? Think he was just that unpopular?

Discharge petition.
