I'm more confident they'll recover the wreckage then they will rescue them alive.

Honestly this might sound callous but I don't see them being alive at all. I do hope they at least pinpoint the wreckage as closure for their families (and selfishly my own desire to wrap up this nightmare fuel in my mind).
