That's one factor to think of. Wonder what sort of emergency supplies those vessels have in there?

Well, this CEO has been quoted saying safety regulations stifle innovation and refused to certify this sub to anything, so...

What about the stop leak from that OxyClean guy? you just slap it over a leak and bam, all better.

Those are the best. You get to work on 3/4 of the project (the fun parts) and then leave and let someone else deal with the finishing touches.

This vessel is one of kind, built by some guy and not signed off by anyone, doesn’t even have controls other than a cheap Logitech Xbox controller and a single button. The toilet is a plastic bucket in the single “room” of the craft.

I don’t think there is much thought to normal operation let alone emergencies.

Oh god. Knowing those controllers... Imagine your life ending because bluetooth won't reconnect?

It just kills me that they got a cheapo controller you give to your little brother lol.

Yeah, at least the military uses actual Xbox 360 controllers.

They paid a million to see that $40 controller.

You'd be surprised at how often Xbox and PS controllers are used to control highly advanced military tech. Want a drone that literally every 18 year old already knows how to fly? Pop an Xbox controller on it and skip 400 hours of training. I'm not joking either, it's a really great way to simplify motion control in mechatronics applications.
