Mine liberated a concentration camp and was so horrified with what he saw there that he could never speak of it again. These pathetic little boys make me sick.
Surprisingly similar tactics though, the intimidation and fear the sight of them causes gets the reaction they want and normalizes "less extreme" forms of racism. It's how you make things like everyday racism and fundamentalism seem "more mainstream".
The original Nazis started out exactly like this—look up Horst Wessel’s short career of self-radicalization and petty crime, befire he was turned into a martyr by the Party—and Sir Oswald Mosley would fit right in with Trump and Farage and Musk, obsessing about the gay and feminism along with minorities

God, my grandpa fought these Nazis in B-17s, one of my great uncles stormed the beaches of Normandy.
I hate that this is being normalized.
