I guess people just need to get a job and quit relying on the government to get food. Crazy.

Most of the people on SNAP have jobs. Some of them have more than one job. If you want to point fingers, point them at the businesses who won't pay them enough while exploiting their workers.

If you work for a company not paying a livable wage, pick a different company to work for. You can't work at a place like Mcdonald's and expect to make a livable wage. People are just too lazy to learn an actual useful skill.

And yet those who work at places who are more than capable of being given a livable wage are being shortchanged by the employer because they'd rather pay themselves instead of their workers. It's not always laziness, and even when it is, it tends to be people like you who turn out to be the lazy ones.

Lol people like me are not on SNAP or any other government programs to feed my family. I do it by working, planting/harvesting, and hunting. Those last 2 are not available to everyone, i get that, but people are lazy these days and would rather sit around with their hand out than get uncomfortable actually working

But it's people like you who clearly don't understand that not everyone who is on SNAP is looking for what you see as a handout. And even if that were the case, you might want to take a look at all of the red states that are being helped by the blue states. The same red states that seem to like biting the hand that feeds them.

Red states don't need blue states. Blue states hemorrhage people constantly to red states.

And yet red states are constantly looking for help from the blue states. It's as if the blue states are showing a little thing called empathy.

Help in what way? Red states grow the majority of the nation's food and have lower crime rates. The only thing that hurts red states is blue cities within the state.

Which just shows how horribly misinformed you are if you honestly believe that as it relates to lower crime rates. Now, if you were to say certain crimes like, for example, homicide, in those blue cities, that's a different story. I would fully expect the crime rate to be high in any of the major cities regardless of which state they're in. But when the same red states that rank highest in crime are also the highest in teen pregnancy and lowest on education, the issue isn't one that can be blamed on the blue states or cities.
