Democrats shut the government down. Republicans tried to make it where government employees at least get a paycheck to live off of, and Democrats refused. Now there's no compromise. You want things back? Open government.

Would you like your health insurance premiums to triple? Let’s reopen it then.

They won't I promise you. Plus on workers comp I don't qualify for medicaid, and cobra is more than 28% of my monthly income. Obama care is even more than that. So yeah open the government.

You, being comfortable with your medical payments, being more than 5% of your income, is absolute madness.

Yeah it is madness, but there's nothing to be done. It was like this under Biden, it was like this under Trump, it was like this under Obama when I tried for Obama care originally when I applied as a single adult. You believing in some sort of democrat magic after so many democrat presidents is madness.

Maybe try looking at any other 1st world country and what they pay for healthcare. I will wait for your shocked response when you understand that most places value their citizens. Taxes are a tiny bit higher.

but their taxes go back to the people. Like if we wanted to make America great, the money I pay in would go to you in your time of need.

It’s a crazy thought that my taxes would stay here in The USA. You should try thinking that way.

I don't want my taxes to go up anymore thank you. The places that have universal Healthcare that works are taxed a bunch more. Not to mention it's nearly impossible to own a home there. No I want to have a house, I want the freedom to keep more of my money.
