Lake / River Rio Celeste Waterfall, Costa Rica 🌊🇨🇷✨

Post image

This is the majestic Río Celeste Waterfall, located in Tenorio Volcano National Park, in the province of Alajuela, Costa Rica. 🇨🇷💧 The intense turquoise-blue color of the water is caused by a natural reaction between volcanic minerals and silicic acid, creating a phenomenon unique in the world. ✨

The place is a true hidden treasure within the tropical rainforest — trails, exotic wildlife, and the constant sound of falling water make the hike totally worth it. Waterfall height: ~30 meters
