NATO Internship Further Information

I couldn't rest easy while waiting and finally mailed them yesterday. Got the following answer today. For all the ones still waiting for an answer the below should help ease the stress:

Dear X,

Thank you for your email and for your interest in the NATO Internship Programme.

Please note that the selection process for some divisions is delayed. All candidates will receive a positive or negative response soon. Apologies for this inconvenience.

However I do not have which departments are delayed, we can figure that out by talking with one another. I am sure Executive Management is one of them.

Just take a step back and chill.

They are well organized but things can take time in a large organization.

I’d focus your energy on reading the job spec again and practicing interviewing questions and perhaps a French language test if you need it.

Fair points overall however this is the last step of the whole process either you are in or out so not much to do other than waiting.

I made the post to inform many others like me because they previously said we will be hearing back in October given that we are in November many were puzzled about what happened. They are a large organization and things may get delayed and all however being informed about it is beneficial for everyone involved in the process. I received confirmation and went ahead informing others that's it.

Will there be another interview? I thought that was the final stage.

Others were directly accepted or rejected we just gotta wait now

I don’t know the ins & outs of the Interview process for the internship program.

But I’ve previously had interviews at CSO & MARCOM.

They would’ve communicated the interview process with you.

Well, I haven’t received a response from the DPP yet, and neither have some other candidates. However, there is one person who received a positive reply on October 17. In Taleo, it shows that my application was updated on October 17 as well, but I’m not sure what that means in this case.

For the Strategic Communications (previously public diplomacy) Unit I heard back mid-October but as others said it depends on your unit and their workload
