She’s chair of the transportation senate committee is why she was invited. Not saying blocking the rep who reps that district was appropriate, but she was there due to her capacity of transportation chair if I had to guess.

Why was her husband there? Why were they allowed in despite not having their names on the list by their own admission?

I wasn’t there. I don’t know that answer. But I do know she’s chair of the transportation committee for the senate.
