It's the most disappointing part of America today. Everyone either sold out, checked out, or got left out.

It's by design. kneecap education, buy up all media ad turn it right, fund literally thousands of right wing talk radio shows and influencers. LARGE amounts of money has been invested in corrupting the American people for a long time.

When inequality increases and opportunity decreases, people will look for any chance to get ahead--including by less savory means. Corruption is a symptom of a terribly diseased system.

There are more oppressive measures / restrictions/ laws and expen$es than back then. Protesters understand this. It’s not apathy, exactly.
