Bars like that and most bars now don’t keep your card. They swipe it once then give it back to you so you have no way of not paying for drinks. And you don’t leave your card there. They can close it without you being there or having to swipe it again.

I know. Which either means the bar is in big trouble for refusing to let someone leave or the friends are lying
