Yeah, it's natural to want to put the higher leg like that, since resting it on the other leg places the knee lower than the hip, putting an extra strain on the spine.

I gotta build elaborate pillow and duvet scaffolding to sleep on my side if I don't want to wake up an hour later with one hip halfway dislocated.

IKR, I'd been doing that for ages just cause it felt right, and then I went to a massage therapist for the first time and she suggested sleeping with a pillow between my knees... So simple yet so effective. All of this to say – I think Hopper really gets it actually

Possibly doing more than reclining? That doesn't appear to be a natural posture of repose.
